Autogenic relaxation is a relaxation technique that involves autosuggestion to create mental and physical calmness. This technique aims to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, and improve overall mental and physical well-being. The autogenic relaxation therapy counseling program is designed to provide outpatient patients with an understanding of the definition, benefits, effects on the body, working stages, and goals of this technique. The counseling session utilized interactive lectures and group discussions, supported by media such as posters and X banners. The results indicate that most participants were able to understand the concept and benefits of this technique and showed enthusiasm in its application. The positive effects of autogenic relaxation include lower blood pressure, reduced muscle tension, decreased heart rate, and an increased sense of comfort and relaxation. With regular practice, this technique can serve as an effective method to improve the quality of life for individuals experiencing stress and anxiety disorders.
