Pendampingan dan Penguatan Keluarga Pasien Jiwa di FKTP

Abstract

The activity of assisting and empowering families of psychiatric patients was conducted on July 11, 2024, at PKM Leuwigajah, aiming to enhance family understanding and skills in supporting the recovery of patients with mental disorders. This program involved 25 participants consisting of family members of patients. The methods used included lectures, focused group discussions (FGD), and question-and-answer sessions. The results of the activity indicated that participants were able to understand the importance of the family's role in supporting patients, particularly in ensuring medication adherence and improving social interactions. The impact of this activity is expected to help families fulfill their roles optimally, thereby accelerating patient recovery and improving the quality of life for families.
