High self-confidence will enhance professionalism and lead to satisfactory service delivery. This study aims to determine the relationship between medical personnel's self-esteem and outpatient satisfaction at the North Jayapura Community Health Center in Papua, Indonesia. This research method used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. A sample of 30 respondents, consisting of 15 medical personnel and 15 outpatients, was selected using a total sampling technique. The research instruments were the PSQ-8 questionnaire and the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI). Data analysis used Point-Biserial Correlation. The results of the hypothesis test showed no significant relationship between medical personnel's self-esteem and patient satisfaction (p = 0.847). The correlation coefficient value was -0.055, indicating a very weak and negative correlation. While medical personnel's self-esteem is not directly related to patient satisfaction, it is an important component of a medical professional's well-being.
Muhlis Muhlis Wigyo Susanto Betie Febriana Waluyo Sejati Copyright (c) 2026 Muhlis Muhlis, Wigyo Susanto, Betie Febriana, Waluyo Sejati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-01 2026-01-01 4 1 1 6 10.12345/jkkhc.v4i1.121 Maternal Fetal Attachment Pada Kehamilan Remaja Berdasarkan Analisis Teori Maternal Role Attainment-Become A Mother https://journalhadhe.com/index.php/jkkhc/article/view/124
Pregnancy is a transition in roles that may lead to a woman's emotional susceptibility. The journey of adjusting to pregnancy presents a challenge for a woman in forming a connection between mother and fetus. Adolescent pregnancy adversely affects the health of both the mother and the fetus since the mother is not fully prepared to handle pregnancy. This will influence the physical, mental, and emotional states. Adolescent women who are pregnant during this stage require support from nurses to ensure a smooth transition. Nurses assist women in learning, building confidence, and fostering Maternal Fetal Attachment. This study aims to examine maternal-fetal attachment during adolescent pregnancy through the lens of the Maternal Role Attainment-Become-A-Mother theory. The approach adopted is informed by the theoretical framework established by Meleis. The findings of this study present a theoretical framework for maternal role attainment that can assist adolescent pregnant women in developing Maternal Fetal Attachment with their fetuses. The inference that can be made is that utilizing maternal role attainment theory can strengthen affectionate connections, boost interaction, and deepen emotional ties between mother and fetus. Enhanced maternal-fetal bonding aids in addressing several obstacles of adolescent pregnancy.
Martina Ekacahyaningtyas Siti Nurjanah Copyright (c) 2026 Martina Ekacahyaningtyas; Siti Nurjanah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-01 2026-01-01 4 1 7 14 10.12345/jkkhc.v4i1.124
